AVANTASIA ENTERS CHARTS AT #2

On April 3rd the new Avantasia-albums "The Wicked Symphony" and "Angel Of Babylon" have been released. The first chart position can now be announced. In Germany the boxset went straight to Number Two of the official album sales charts. This marks the highest chart entry for Tobias and his projects ever.

Tobias comments:  "Not too bad. I mean, it could have been worse: AVANTASIA could have been fourth-positioned. Or on #9. Or the pressing plant could have printed the wrong name on the CD. It's too dreadful to think about what could have happened if the 289 juggernauts with the first edition of the album got lost! But life doesn't take place in subjunctive: I'm ok with being a number two in the German album charts. It isn't as good as a number one, but even purely in terms of figures - higher than a number three. And between you and me: This wonderful "The Wicked Symphony / Angel Of Babylon" package deserved it. All those beautiful pictures, the booklet, 22 hits, not to mention the smashing box made of cardboard. Even if you don't like the album, you can use the box and put something else inside. Feel free and be creative! Whatsoever, of course I wanna thank the bunch of superb guest artists. The best, the greatest and most adorable musicians to work with. I owe this to you! And who do I have to thank for this, too? YOU! The fans, the best fans on earth. Without YOU this wouldn't have been possible. Thank you very, very, very much!"
